History
The Firm of Johnson & Johnson Solicitors was founded in 1943 by Patrick Keenan Johnson, the father of its current managing partner Keenan Johnson. Patrick Keenan Johnson practised under the style of Patrick Keenan Johnson, Solicitor, until 1972 when he went into Partnership with Mr Thomas E Tighe.

The Practice then went under the name of Johnson & Tighe Solicitors. Patrick Keenan Johnson was appointed a Judge of the District Court in 1975 and, following his retirement from Practice, Thomas E Tighe continued to practise under the name of Johnson & Tighe Solicitors. Thomas E Tighe was appointed State Solicitor in 1983 and on his appointment Keenan Johnson and his brother Brendan Johnson purchased the Practice from Thomas E. Tighe and changed the title to Johnson & Johnson Solicitors.
Keenan Johnson, the current managing partner, continued in partnership with his brother Brenan Johnson until 1998, when Brendan Johnson went to practice under his own name. Keenan Johnson continued to practice under the name of Johnson & Johnson Solicitors until the appointment of Mr. Donncha O’Connor as a partner in the practice from the 1st of January 2008. The practice has now been in existence for over sixty years.
The practice is general in nature and offers advice on numerous areas of law including probate, conveyancing, litigation, labour law, commercial law, landlord and tenant, district and circuit court prosecutions, family law, arbitration and mediation.
